Amy turns four today.  She has been so excited about her birthday coming.  We had hoped to have a small birthday party for some of her friends and their family tonight, but either they are out of town or have school programs to attend.  So we have moved the friends party to next Tuesday and celebrate tonight by going out to dinner at La Mariposa in Longmont (one of our favorite Mexican restaurants) and then came home after for PINK birthday cake.  She has been requesting pink for probably the entire year now.  Chris and I gave her a new dress, pants and a shirt, and "The Lion King" DVD.  Grandma Ball sent a new Leap Frog learning system, Grandpa Kline sent money for her savings account, Grandma Andrews sent money for fun (though we usually end up depositing it in her account), and Grandma and Grandpa Rice sent a necklace.  Amy kept saying “This is my best birthday ever”.  Good since she doesn’t have too many to compare it to.
