Amy had her birthday party last night.  She was so excited.  Another one of those “best days ever” kind of days.  We put up some balloons and had lots of desserts, ice cream, and treats for everyone.  I didn’t make another cake since we were still working on the pink one from her birthday.  Her friend Ellie Glover and family came, Lexie Krause (next door neighbor) and parents, Jamie Riddle (Chris’ coworker), and Rochelle Allred and kids (friends from church).  Her bestest friend Audrey Wasden couldn’t come because her mom was sick.  She got a new dress and purse from Jamie, a Strawberry Shortcake doll, crayons, and coloring book from Ellie and a Barbie Princess dress-up dress from Lexie.  There were quite a few kids running through the house and even though we didn’t plan anything formal other than eating and opening presents, they had a great time.  At play group today, Audrey gave Amy a fun balancing game with lots and lots of little pieces that I am already tired of picking up.
