Yesterday, I was sewing curtain rings onto the dining room curtains.  The rings had previously been attached with curtain clips.  Amy was playing with the rings with clips in the office, but suddenly walked back into the living room and dumped them all in my lap.  She looked as though she were going to cry, but I couldn’t see that there was anything wrong until she dumped the rings and one lone ring continued to dangle from her tongue.  She didn’t say anything to me but opened her mouth for me to remove the clip.  I tried not to laugh so that she would see, but it was pretty funny and still makes me laugh.

This morning Misha woke up earlier than usual.  Normally, Chris is here to get up with her but with him gone, she started downstairs.  As I was coming up to meet her, she said, “No Daddy.  I lost him.”  Poor thing.

Whew.  The wind is blowing so hard here today.  It tore the bbq cover right off the bbq and up, up and away.  I grabbed my shoes and jacket and tore after it before it blew beyond the fence two house down.  My ears were full of dirt, and I was almost attacked by a tumble weed.  The water in the toilet is moving and the window sills almost have enough dirt for the girls to play in the dirt inside.
