Today is Grandpa Kline’s birthday.  Happy Birthday to him.  We actually will see him in a couple of days as we are taking a short vacation to Phoenix to visit him.  We will leave on Thursday afternoon and come back early Monday morning.  Grandpa Kline is flying on Friday and so we won’t see him until Saturday, but we will have all day to spend together on Friday.  Daddy sure does need a break, and this is just perfect timing for him.

He usually gets burned out each semester about this time and gets kind of grumpy.  Fortunately for all of us, he doesn’t have more semesters to dread.  He graduates in April!

You get so excited to see Daddy when he comes home from work.  If I see him drive up, we both sit on the couch by the front window and watch him.  You become rather animated.  You are walking more and more each day.  And each day you walk a little bit farther.  You still aren’t completely confident, but you are doing so great.  You are able to turn corners now.  Most evenings you spend time just walking back and forth between me and the couch or the stairs or wherever has caught your interest.

We went to the doctor yesterday for a baby check up.  You have no clue that some little boy or girl will be joining our family.  Daddy met us at the doctor’s office and all of us were able to hear the baby’s heart beat.  It sounds great.  We scheduled the ultrasound for March 8 and should be able to know then if our newest addition is a boy or girl.
