You took your first steps last Friday night. We have been practicing standing with you and you have been getting braver and braver all of the time. Finally you walked from Daddy to me. We were all so excited. You were especially proud of yourself. You still aren’t comfortable enough to just start off on your own, but I am sure that you will pick it up quickly.
You are so smart too. I have been teaching you your different body parts, and you point to them when I ask you. You know eyes, nose, hair, tongue (which you stick out), teeth, tummy, fingers, leg, toes. It is amazing how quickly you pick things up when I tell them to you a couple of times.
Right now you are sleeping on my bed because you are having such a hard time sleeping lately. I think that your teeth are really bothering you. You have had a fever off and on for the past couple of days and very rosy cheeks.
