I have been feeling so nauseated and tired for about two weeks now. It is not a lot of fun. When I was pregnant with you, Amy, that nausea lasted until about 14 weeks, so I am not looking forward to feeling this way for the next 7 weeks.
Last week, you and I went into my bedroom to get Daddy out of bed. He always has a hard time wanting to get up in the morning. We were sitting talking and asked you if you knew if our new baby was a boy or a girl. You shook your head no as if you really understood what we were asking. You love babies, especially watching them on tv, so it will be interesting how you take to having one at home.
You are getting braver about walking and walk along the furniture quite a lot. Yesterday you walked across the living room while pushing your walker. You haven’t figured out how to walk while sitting in the walker but do a fine job pushing it.
We have cut back to two naps a day. You could still probably use three, but with three you are up until 10 pm whereas with two you are more than ready to go to sleep by 8 pm. I try to take a nap as well in the afternoon when you sleep because I have been so tired lately.
Much to your dismay and sadness, you were weaned Friday night. You just wouldn’t stop biting me. You cried the next morning when I wouldn’t nurse you and only gave you a bottle. It was rather painful for me to stop feeding you cold turkey, but I figured that was the only way. Now, however, you have adjusted quite well. Your two top teeth are almost through and I am sure that that is the reason for biting me so much. I am so glad that they are nearly through because you have been rather crabby lately, not your usually pleasant self.
