We have had a lot of unseasonably cold weather lately as well as a lot of snow.  It is normally 20 degrees warmer this time of the year and we don’t see these kind of temperatures until January and February.  It is not my favorite because it prolongs the winter months.

Grandma Ball was visiting this weekend and stayed at our house last night.  It took you a while to warm up to all of the company with Becky and Kyle and Kevin and Candace, though you didn’t really take to anyone in particular.  Everyone wants your attention and you love to be the center of action, but you are most comfortable doing so when mommy and daddy are close at hand.

You have mastered crawling and are now pulling yourself up onto everything, especially in your crib.  You stand at the end of your crib when you are supposed to be sleeping, throw your pacifier on the floor, and cry or protest loudly until someone comes to rescue you.  It makes your going to bed moments a whole lot of fun.

Daddy leaves for Dallas on Thursday to interview with Exxon Mobil.  He received an offer from the site visit in Phoenix that he went on a week and a half ago, but it was hardly comparable with what he makes right now at Novell.  It is not likely that he will accept the Arthur Anderson offer.  He then flies to Seattle next Tuesday to meet with KPMG, another one of the Big 5 Accounting Firms.

I get up at 5:30 now to exercise.  With the weather as yucky as it has been, it isn’t so great to take you out in it all of the time, especially after your ear infection.  Plus, you aren’t so excited to be in the pack n' play for so long and start crying.
