Today is Canadian Thanksgiving Day. No wonder I felt like having turkey last week.
We spent a couple of hours on Saturday in the backyard getting things cleaned up. I planted 118 tulips and hope that I will be around to see them bloom. It should be pretty fantastic though if they all come up. Chris cut the grass for the last time of the season he hopes. It looks pretty good. It’s not that big that it becomes too big of a chore to take care of. When you woke up, Daddy brought you outside and put you in your walker on the grass next to his tree. You kindly started picking the leaves off for him but loved being outside.
You are becoming more comfortable with standing and want to stand, and that I think is the key. Before we would hold you up to get you to stand, but you were more inclined to sit. You started clicking you tongue the other day and do so many things that are cute. You don’t give hugs by wrapping your arms around us but rather you lean your face against my face. Any time the train goes by you look up and says “croooooooo”. I think “train” will be one of your first words. You seem to know who mommy and daddy are but only says dada at this point.
