This morning I dressed you in the same sleeper outfit that we brought you home from the hospital in and it is fitting so much better.  You are obviously growing and your cheeks are getting pudgier all the time.

The past month of life with you has had its ups and downs.  Sometimes you are a perfect little angel and sleep wonderfully through the day and night and the next day you simply refuse to go to sleep whatsoever.  You do seem to be getting onto a schedule at night though which is wonderful for me.  You have been going to sleep around 10 pm, waking up between 2 and 3 am, going back to sleep without any fuss and sleeping till 6 or 6:30 am.  I still get tired, but it’s not as bad as it was.

When we first brought you home, you woke up so much more during the day and night, and I finally figured out that you were cold.  So now you wear heavier jammies and sleep in a different bed where the sides are completely enclosed.  I was grateful that it was a rather easy solution.

Yesterday, I took you to Aunt Susan’s so that I could get a bit of exercise.  Everyone there loves you and will gladly sit and hold you for hours.  Karra, who is 10, hopes that she can babysit you in the future.
