Hi there! We are enjoying some wonderful Fall weather this weekend. I would be just as happy if it were to continue throughout the winter, but I doubt that will happen.
Christopher got the job he was hoping for at Novell. He will start on November 1st. We are so excited, because it means that he will have great benefits to cover all of us, we can afford our new house, and I can stay home with you. There have been so many miracles in our life since we found out you would be joining our family. We can’t help but acknowledge the Lord’s hand in our lives. We felt so impressed to buy a new home way back in June, but wondered how it would all happen financially. Now everything seems to be fitting so neatly into place.
The countdown to your b-day is on. Dr. Woodmansee’s due date for you is December 8, five days earlier than previously thought. You will be here at least by the 15th because he won’t let me go over a week overdue. Still I hope that you come a bit early. It would make it nicer for your dad and his finals.
Grandpa Kline has offered to give Chris two flight passes to go to Portland on the 18th for Kevin’s wedding. That is, if everything works out all right and you arrive in a timely manner. Chris doesn’t know yet, because I asked Grandpa Kline secretly and hope to be able to surprise Chris. Even if Chris just went for the day, you and I would be all right.
Last Saturday, Chris and I spent most of the day at the hospital at a prenatal class. We learned a lot but your dad thought it wasn’t quite so exciting a way to celebrate his birthday.
