Amy loved her second day of school. When I asked her how it went she said, “Perfect.” Good to know that it is living up to all of her long-held expectations. Misha isn’t quite as happy about school. She asks repeatedly how long before we pick Amy up or tells me that she thinks Amy is ready to come home. Most of the time she just says, “I miss Amy.” The nice thing about it though is that there is rarely any whining, fighting, or arguing in the morning.
Kristen has a stuffy nose. Poor thing! But she is still smiling and happy. She woke up around 2:30 am and then again at 3 am because she couldn’t breathe. I picked her to rock her and hold her upright to let her nose drain, but she instantly thought it was time to eat and would have nothing to do with just plain old rocking. Once she was finished eating she was raring to go, mind you, that’s at 3:30 in the morning. I held her close until she began to close her eyes and finally she fell back to sleep and slept past 8 am. I put her to sleep on her “Boppy” pillow which kept her head and upper body elevated and she was able to sleep so much better. Nice because that gave me time to get Amy ready for and to drop her off at school. Misha was very compliant when I told her that she needed to be dressed and have breakfast if she was to come with me. Yesterday she didn’t get to come because she wasn’t ready, and Chris said she was rather upset with me.
