I went for my first doctor’s appointment last week. Everything looks good and right on schedule. My OB is Dr. Nelson at the Longmont Clinic in Longmont. Both he and his nurse were nice, and I felt comfortable with them. Dr. Nelson did an internal ultrasound of the baby and he or she is developing right on schedule. Because of my age, I am considered more high risk, so at 18 weeks they will have me go to Boulder for more in depth ultrasounds to make sure that everything is ok health wise. The baby’s due date is April 26, but with a c-section we are looking at the 18th or 19th.
Amy, Misha and I got sick shortly after arriving home. I think mine was a sinus infection because it has been hanging on for over a week now. Chris was able to avoid getting sick and slept about five nights in the guest room to stay away from my germs. He is so busy right now that he can’t really afford to be sick.
Chris has a conference that he leaves for on Sunday that he is presenting at. It is in New York and will keep him away until the following Wednesday. He has had to spend countless hours working on his Tools for work, since that is what he is presenting on. He rewrote them in another language to make them better. He also finished a 15-page paper yesterday that was due today for the conference. On top of that, he started another University of Phoenix class last night.
